  Over priced. Nothing wrong with the food; nothing special about it either. The waitress seemed annoyed by my 4yr old being indecisive about his beverage selection. Maybe she was having a bad day...

  The best milkshakes on the west side of the red River! I'd recommend the Deluxe cheese burger with fries and gravy as a side. Always get a milkshake.

  In the same family for more than 40 years. The sign simply reads “Nick’s Inn, Good Food”. The staff are friendly and very competent in what they do. The food is great, the service is great. Almost effortless. We’ve been coming here regularly since we first visited Winnipeg in 2012. In 2014 we moved to Winnipeg. Nick’s Inn remains one of our favorite places to be. The fries with gravy, is outstanding. I suspect they’ve added a hint of powdered mustard to the gravy. It just makes it pop and distinguishes it from other establishments. My favorite, the double bacon cheese burger, with coleslaw and fries with gravy. Nick’s Inn is truly worth the trip out to Headingly.
